Our Story: From Lesotho to the SADC Region
“Leso Plastics began in 2014, as a bold response to a key pain area in the African manufacturing landscape. For too long, bottlers and fillers in regions like Lesotho were forced to export natural resources while importing expensive, finished bottled products from distant urban hubs.
We established our first facility in Maseru, Lesotho, as a revolution to empower local manufacturing. By localizing PET bottle blowing while sourcing preforms globally, we proved that we could create a resilient local supply chain that catalyzes industrial development.
Today, Leso Plastics is the anchor for a vision that spans 14 factories across 8 countries, including Eswatini, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi.”
